So a little about me! I am from the Hub City, Hattiesburg, Mississippi and I love my hometown! My parents named me Jennifer Keri Ray and I hated my first name for the longest time and then my sister named her daughter Jennifer! Now I love it! I always wanted a double name! So I just decided in college I would do just that! I became Keri Ray and now I go by Keri Ray Galey! It just makes me happy! That’s all. I have lived here pretty much my whole life! My parents, Bill and Chalie Ray are AMAZING and still so active!(They have been married over 55 years!) I have an older sister, Robin and her middle name is D’Nev and I call her that all the time! She is incredible and super wise! My dad nicknamed us Ace(Robin) and me Duke! I think to this day how cool that was and is! 

I was and am super active growing up and love being outdoors! Water-skiing, wake-skating and Surfing are my major JAM! I love tennis and yes, I love playing singles! High Fitness(aerobics) is so fun and would love to snow ski everyday! I loved being a cheerleader and badly wanted to try out for the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders!(I did order the costume for Halloween!) 

I did go to Mississippi State University and got a Bachelors in Communication! I loved being a member of Chi Omega Sorority and I was a little sister for the Sigma Chi Fraternity and Sweetheart! It was an amazing 4 years and made the bestest of friends ever! I was super active on campus and was Freshman Homecoming maid and 1st alternate to Miss MSU pageant! Fun fun times! 

I love Jesus! He is my everything and you will see that all through my site, I want others to know Him and for Him to be their BFF! I have been through so much and that is exactly why I think I can give you some nuggets on letting go of the reins and letting Him have your stuff! Best decision ever! Just maybe, I can encourage you to step out in faith, and dream BIG! Once you put it in His Hands, amazing things happen! I am LIVING PROOF! It’s never too late! I am 50 and just really getting started! 

I am married to an awesome guy named Roman Embry Galey! He has such a sensitive big heart and loves me so well! You see I married him close to 11 years ago! Yousa! Our families were and are great friends to this day! We grew up together! We both had been in previous marriages and the Lord brought us together! How crazy is that! He has a beautiful daughter named Ella, now 16 and I have an amazing son, Fletcher now 22! 

Can you guess the best thing that ever happened to me? Becoming a momma! Yes, in the south, some of us say Momma! I became a momma to the cutest kiddo! Fletcher Hollis Travis made me a momma! I didn’t know I could love someone so much until I had him. Yes, do I wish I had do overs on decisions I made raising him. Of course, I was a single mom for 4 years and sometimes your just in survival mode. I think any mom would agree with me! Single or married! Life is so hard and choices affect your kids and then there comes shame and guilt of things you wish you had made a different choice. What I can tell you is God is so good and He has guided me to let me know He loves me and Fletcher soo BIG and has always had us in every detail of our lives! 

He continually let this major RaY of Sunshine know that. He would lovingly tell me to continue to shine my light even when times got sooo dark that my light became like a tiny candle flickering in a big room. I would feel him and then it would be like 100 candles in a room that everyone would feel my love! My love from Him was and is always there but now it is that large Sunshine glowing! I am ready to help others, after years of growing and continually maturing and being real about topics that people want to talk about but scared. 

You see I have been through so much! My mission is to speak to anyone that is hurting, anxious, unsure of their present and future and give them hope! I am REAL and many of my stories are RAW. I do have huge HOPE! Faith for the UNSEEN and that I can hopefully help a young girls all the way to groups of mommas to know their value!

I love to speak! I am truly thrilled about going to colleges and talking to young ladies about recruitment! I truly want to be real with them and give them some ideas that might help them think differently about how they look at a life and acceptance! 

Speaking to women in general with whatever organization is something I love! Empowering them to be positive, not judgmental and looking for ways to lift one another up is so needed in this day and time!
